Scope of Services

Comércio Fora do Sítio, in the version of website navigation and mobile equipment, was designed by the Municipality of Porto.
Its purpose is to promote the initiative and disclose the itinerary of the participating shops: their history, the collections or products involved, location, and contacts, as well as allow the user to obtain information that qualifies them to win different offers/gifts, until the limit of the existing stock.
As responsible for the website, the Municipality of Porto does not own, create, sell, resell, provide, control, manage, offer, make available, or provide any services of purchase, sale, or advertising.
The Municipality of Porto is not responsible for and does not guarantee:
(1) the existence, quality, safety, adequacy, or legality of any advertisements or services of the shop owner;
(2) the accuracy of any descriptions of promotions, campaigns, and special offers;
(3) the performance or conduct of any user or third party.
The Municipality of Porto does not recommend any user, advertisement, or service of a user.

Registration

Comércio Fora do Sítio allows users to register in order to participate in the initiative, and they must provide correct and complete data:
– user identification data: username, password, name and, nationality;
– contact details: telephone and e-mail.
During the registration process, the user will receive confirmation of his registration at the email address indicated, the user must always keep his account information up to date, and should not register for more than one account. Additionally, the user may not assign or transfer his Comércio Fora do Sítio account to another person. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials.

Participation

The registered user can obtain information about the initiative by accessing the Comércio Fora do Sítio website, being able to visit the establishments physically and effectuate his participation by scanning the QR code available in the shop window of each participating establishment with the use of a mobile device.
By scanning the QR codes in the shop windows of at least two paired establishments in the scope of the initiative (that is, two shops that exchange products and/or elements of the estate and collection), the user will be eligible for different offers/gifts, up to the limit of existing stock. The offers/gifts are cumulative, i.e.: checking-in at one pair of paired stores, entitles the user to one offer/gift; checking-in at two pairs of paired stores, entitles the user to two offers/gifts; and so on, until the user checks-in at all four existing pairs of paired stores.

The notification with information on the retrieval of the offers/gifts attributed will be sent to the email address registered in the user’s account.

By participating, the user acknowledges that the personal data indicated above will be processed for the purpose of awarding offers/gifts. Additionally, in order to confirm that the participant is actually in the participating establishment(s), at the time of participation, the participant will have to activate the location of the mobile device, which will be subject to registration and processing by the Municipality of Porto.
The Municipality of Porto may, without notice, delete or deny access to any user if it considers or suspects of fraudulent use or a contrary use to Terms and Conditions, in effect at the time.

Cancellation of the registration

The user may, at any time, cancel his registration at Comércio Fora do Sítio by sending an e-mail to comercioforadositio@cm-porto.pt.
